Charles A. Cannon Charitable Trusts

The Charles A. Cannon Charitable Trusts may be thought of as a sibling grant making organization to The Cannon Foundation.  Functioning as a single entity, the three permanently endowed charitable trusts each have the same Trustees, employ no staff and utilize the Foundation’s office space as needed.  Administrative support is provided by the Foundation staff.

The Charles A. Cannon Charitable Trusts do not accept, fund or respond to unsolicited requests for grants.   The Trusts are permitted to make grants only to pre-named beneficiaries.   Eligible organizations automatically receive requests for proposals as appropriate.

Organizations uncertain of their eligibility should assume that they are not eligible.

Requests for information about the Charitable Trusts should be mailed to:

Joseph C. Hunter, Secretary
Charles A. Cannon Charitable Trusts
P.O. Box 548
Concord, NC 28026
